Spiritual Awakening
Synchronicity
Feeling an extreme restlessness in life? There is an Inner Calling that cannot be ignored, a call to the Soul. Questions may arise like what am I doing here and where am I going in my life? What is my life for? Is there meaning out there for my existence? Who am I and who is God? There is an inner timetable for our awareness. A spiritual alarm clock is going off that you can no longer ignore. It is a time to be aware of subtle synchronicity along with using and trusting your intuition.
Synchronicity is an interconnection with the Universe with an underlying web of linkages that brings people and events together in a way not based in a traditional comprehension of causality.
During this first cycle of awareness you will experience "chance coincidences", these are rather mileposts in your spiritual awakening. These synchronistic events will lead you to the path of your own spiritual truth. Be aware of things around you. Pay attention.
Osho, Philosophia Ultima
Synchronicities are events that happen when the universe is trying to tell you something, just as a signpost or mile marker would give you information while traveling in a car. Amazing situations happen when your inner awareness changes. Your energetic thoughts and intents and direction of interests and desires will align with all the natural vibrations around you coalescing into a harmony of vibrational relationships.
The Universe is always willing and waiting to show you something wonderful. Synchronicities bring to light information for your waking consciousness along with your sub/unconscious aspects of your selves gently guiding and directing you to what is in alignment with your own personal growth. Synchronicities whisper into your soul a hint for you to watch and wait. "Expect the unexpected!"
This is a time to hear carefully when your soul whispers for the lessons are sometimes very subtle. As in this example the events are not so transparent, however, this too becomes a lesson in intuition and strengthening your internal hearing. There are also times when synchronicities happen that one cannot ignore. Books or articles may come to you come "out of the blue" that fit in with what your learning. Someone may mention a topic unexpectedly and catch you off guard. You may receive insightful emails and friendly inspirations just at the right moment. You may notice a repeat of incidences, colors, numbers, letters, phrases or animals.
The universe is telling you something! To take a closer look at what an event could mean you may need to ask yourself some questions and perhaps ponder in meditation.
- What are the commonalties or theme among the synchronistic events?
- Do the symbols and events have a particular meaning for you?
- Do the symbols, events, information have deeper meanings you are to explore?
- What does your intuition feel and say about the event?
- What are your feelings about what you have experienced?
- Sometimes we only recognize the synchronicity in hindsight. What do the string of clues say to you?
Intuition
"Intuition (Latin intueri, to look into) is a psychological and philosophical term which designates the process of immediate apprehension or perception of an actual fact, being, or relation between two terms and its results."
"Kant calls empirical intuitions our knowledge of objects through sensation, and pure intuition our perception of space and time as the forms a priori of sensibility. Again, our intuitions may be called external or internal, according as the objects perceived are external objects or internal objects or acts."

Synchronicity from Physics and Consciousness
by StarStuffs
"Carl Jung made significant progress in his theories of the soul and shamanism, on many levels. This psychologist's work on the deep aspects of the soul dawned a new age for scientific and religious thinkers. Carl Jung's depth in understanding the self and realms therein parallels the knowledge and characteristics of shamanism.
With this understanding, Carl Jung felt that no causal connection can be demonstrated between two events, but a meaningful relationship nevertheless exists between them. This direct encounter with the patterning of events in nature as a whole reveals the meaningful connections between the subjective and objective world. Jung called this principle of meaningful coincidences: "synchronicity".
Jung describes in his research into the collective unconscious that coincidences were connected in meaningful ways. Their occurrence seemed to defy the calculations of probability. Because Jung believed the phenomenon of synchronicity was connected to psychic conditions, he felt the inner and outer realities (subjective and objective) evolved through the archetypes. Jung formulated that these archetypal images belonged to a part of the unconscious not derived from personal experience. The archetypal images forms the "collective unconscious". This collective is all things working in tandem indicating 'singleness of purpose', in this case, our very totality of consciousness vibrating and working as one coherent mass of energy.
We can also see archetypal images or symbols as energetic structures that create a bridge between us and the higher realities. In some unintelligible way, they connect us with the spiritual realms and the divine order that unites us all. Archetypes thus become a doorway that provides access to the experience of meaningful coincidence.
Jung's concept of synchronicity speaks of the "oneness" and interdependence of the universe. Jung states, "peculiar interdependence of objective elements among themselves as well as with the subjective (psychic) states of the observer or observers". Jung was also heavily influenced by the "new" physics dawning which he wrote, "Physics has demonstrated...that in the realm of atomic magnitudes objective reality presupposes an observer, and that only on this condition is a satisfactory scheme of explanation possible...This means that a subjective element attaches to the physicist's world picture, and secondly that a connection necessarily exists between the psyche to be explained and the objective space-time continuum."
These discoveries confirmed what Jung recognized intuitively: that matter and consciousness are, in fact, interconnected in an essential way. Quantum theory and synchronous events along with matter and consciousness function as complementary aspects of a unified total reality.
In an essay by Gerhard Adler titled "Reflections on "Chance" and "Fate" - "This interconnectedness manifests itself in so many ways that one has to accept it as indisputable reality."
Arthur Koestler, a twentieth century philosopher, refers to the capacity of the human psyche to "act as a cosmic resonator" and in his book, "The Roots of Coincidence", presumes the "fundamental unity of all things," which transcends mechanical causality, and which relates coincidence to the "universal scheme of things."
Spiritual awakening starts by questioning our life's purpose. Who am I? Why am I am here? There has to be more but what? What is this all about? Why am being pulled into this search for myself? A spiritual alarm clock is going off that YOU can no longer ignore. It is time to watch for synchronicities and listening carefully to your intuition and your heart.
There is something wonderful that happens when we are connected with the universal flow of life. All the clues over a period of time, in and of themselves mean little. At the point of realization, quantum awakening happens and everything you have experienced makes complete sense with an utter clarity that you are forever changed.
